Live Your Life

Ive been looking forward to today for a few months now, and dreading it all at the same time.  Why?  Its the day our the cover shoot for the fall issue of Wedding Nouveau magazine.  Dont get me wrong, weve got a fabulous team on board, and and even more fabtastic location, the details of which will be shared soon.  However, I fear my own personal anxieties about control, perfection and the unknown can be both exhilarating and enraging.

After watching this excerpt from Steve Jobs 2005 Commencement address at Stanford University, Im convinced that my fears are just part of the process, so far as I stay hungry, focused and willing to risk.

Am I doing what I love?  Yes.  Am I taking on something new and scary?  Yes.  Am I excited to watch Wedding Nouveau grew the way it has over the last two years?  Absolutely.  Does that still scare me?  You bet!  Will I keep taking risks? Thats how I rollbecause sometimes, fear is just not worth it.
